An e-scooter rider with a passenger onboard fell foul of gardaí in Kilkenny earlier today.
"One young e-scooter rider fell foul of one of our lads on High Street," a garda spokesperson said.
"When called to stop his scooter which had a passenger on it he declined, instead heading to William Street before turning across High Street onto the Butterslip, a schoolboy error as big steps mitigate against little wheels.

"His parents or guardians are welcome to call to the station for a chat."
