Local food business coach, Tracie Daly has described winning 'Local Food Hero of the Year' in Kilkenny as an 'honour'.
Eighteen Kilkenny winners were announced at a ceremony at the Killashee Hotel, Naas in County Kildare.
"What an honour to be granted such an award. I’m on cloud nine and feeling so lucky that my life permits my culinary adventures that I could not live without. Do more of what you love," she posted to social media.

"Restaurants Ireland, thank you for making my night and my journey so special with this wonderful award," she added.
Meanwhile, Seán Collender, President of the Restaurants Association of Ireland, said: "Tonight is about recognising the outstanding efforts of those who bring Ireland’s culinary reputation to life every day. In a challenging business environment, it is more important than ever to honour the people whose hard work, passion and creativity shape our hospitality sector.
