Decision due soon on major development in Kilkenny

A decision is due from Kilkenny County Council this week on plans from Glenman Corporation Limited ‘for a commercial development’ at 44-48 Kieran Street, Kilkenny City.

The development is proposed to include a ‘commercial unit on ground floor’ and ‘apparta-hostel’ on ground, first, second and third floors.

This decision timeline could be subject to change if the local authority requires further details from the applicant.

The planned development is adjacent to a listed building, St Mary's Church.
