"Just because you don't see us doesn't mean we're not there."
That was the message from gardaí in Kilkenny as they stopped a motorist recently on the Ring Road in Kilkenny City.
"This vehicle overtook our unmarked car on the hatch markings approaching the Bennettsbridge Roundabout," gardaí stated.
"The driver then stayed in the right lane going on to the roundabout before going straight ahead. Fixed charge notices issued.

"Moral of the story, 'just because you don't see us doesn't mean we're not there'."
Posting about the incident on social media, may commenters had similar reactions.
One commented: "That is happening constantly at that roundabout."
Another posted: "A regular occurrence and very dangerous too as cars are forced to merge."
Similarly, one user stated: "This is a regular occurrence. Five cars passed me there the other day."
