LATEST: Plans lodged to council for housing development in Kilkenny

Ayrfield Homes Ltd are applying for planning permission for the proposed phase two construction of a residential development at Ayrfield, Granges Road, Kilkenny.

The development would consist of: three four-bed detached dwellings, nine four-bed semi-detached dwellings, ten three-bed semi-detached dwellings and two two-level duplex buildings.

The duplex buildings would consist of four two-bed ground floor units and four two-bed first floor duplex units.

Permission has also been sought for a vehicular connection from the existing phase one development, boundary treatments and public open space.

The applicant is also seeking permission for foul and surface water connections/disposal, and all associated site works.

The planning application was received by Kilkenny County Council on July 8, 2025.

A decision is expected by September 1, 2025.
