Kilkenny Castle
Two attractions both inside and on the grounds of Kilkenny Castle remain closed, with widespread disappointment but understanding.
The Playground will be closed until Thursday, August 14, while the Blue Bedroom and the Chinese Bedroom will not be open to visitors until Friday, August 15.
ALERT: Road closure confirmed due to works around the Butt's Green in Kilkenny
Both closures are due to essential maintenance.
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused," a council spokesperson said.
