Kilkenny gardaí issue stern message to parents to avoid a 'bad outcome'

An Garda Síochana have posted a message to parents and local students attending Tuesday evening's Ball in Kilkenny City, advising against behaviours which may put local teenagers 'in danger'.

"Tonight's Halloween Ball is an alcohol free event for kids. No need to go into early to drink," a garda spokesperson said in a Facebook post.

"No need to hide naggins in the handbag. No need to let your child put themselves in danger. No need for a bad outcome. No need for bad memories," they added.
