Kingscroft Developments Limited have received planning permission to add a further nine apartment units to their already-approved residential development at William Robertson Way, Poulgour Road, Kilkenny.
This is due to increase the scale of the overall apartment block planned on the site from four storeys to five storeys, and from 30 apartment units to 39 apartment units (22 one-bed units and 17 two-bed units).

There will be no modifications to the as-granted 130 houses and 52 duplex apartments.
The overall total number of residential units in this development is now increased from 212 to 221.

The site layout has been modified slightly to accommodate additional surface car parking and other ancillary works.
Permission was granted for the modification of the original planning application subject to three conditions.

The decision to grant permission was made on November 10, 2025.
