Two new raised zebra crossings, one north and one south of Presentation Primary School have been installed on Parnell Street in Kilkenny City.

It's hoped that the measures will create a much safer school zone for children walking, cycling, and scooting in the area.

This project was funded by the National Transport Authority’s Active Travel Programme and was delivered by the Active Travel team in conjunction with Kilkenny Municipal District.
