Plans unveiled for new homes in The Butts area of Kilkenny City
The plans will be available to view at St Canice’s Neighbourhood Hall, Butts Green
Plans for the proposed ten-unit residential development at St Anthony’s, 52 Lord Edward Street, The Butts in Kilkenny City will be on display this Thursday.
The proposed development will consist of ten residential units. At the front of the site, there will be four one-bedroom apartments and one three-bedroom house in a two-storey block, all with their own entrances. At the rear, it’s proposed there will be four single-storey two-bedroom units and one single-storey one-bedroom unit.
The existing buildings on the site will be demolished. The works will also include a new vehicular entrance, car parking, public open space, a community garden and other associated site works.
The plans will be available to view from 4.30pm to 7.30pm from St Canice’s Neighbourhood Hall, Butts Green and staff members from the Kilkenny County Council Housing Section will be in attendance to answer any questions that the public might have regarding the proposed development.

The latest date for receipt of comments on the above scheme is 5pm on Friday, October 2.
