Speculation over Henry Shefflin’s Kilkenny backroom team has been put to bed...
Kilkenny senior hurling manager Henry Shefflin has finalised his coaching team for the 2027 season.
PJ Delaney (Fenians) and David Mulcahy (James Stephens) have been called in to the fold alongside Head Coach David Herity.
Earlier this month, Shefflin replaced former team-mate Derek Lyng in the position on a four year contract, becoming just the third man to take the top job in Kilkenny hurling since 1998.
“The proposed management team will be brought before delegates for ratification at the August meeting of Kilkenny County Board,” a spokesperson for Kilkenny GAA said on Sunday evening.
