A well known author and comedian delighted Kilkenny fans last week as he dropped into a popular local bar.
Rory O’Connor has amassed over 1.2 million followers and two billion video views across his social media channels, Rory’s Stories.
His success has translated beyond stand-up comedy, in becoming a four-time bestselling author, public speaker and even on more traditional platforms, with Rory starring in RTE One’s hit shows “Gaelic in the Joy” and ‘Ultimate Hell Week- The Professionals’.
Rory is a mental health advocate and is passionate about helping people. He has shared his own personal journey and struggles with mental health to tens of thousands of people in the hope to uplift, inspire and bring positive change.
But, even with the eyes of the world on his content, he still found time to drop into Syd Harkin’s on Rose Inn Street in Kilkenny City.
“This legend popped in for some lovely pints, a real gentleman,” the city pub posted to Instagram.
