Gardaí are investigating a number of burglaries which took place in broad daylight.
The houses were forcibly entered at Outrath Road and Meadows Hill last Thursday (March 23).
A door was forcibly entered in one property and a window was broken into to gain entry to the second house.
Both houses were unoccupied and a quantity of cash was taken.
Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the vicinity is asked to contact Kilkenny Gardaí on (056) 777 5000.
