Thomastown groups come together to promote better health and more inclusion

The Day Centre at St Columba’s Hospital Thomastown along with the Kilkenny Memory Clinic and Thomastown Men’s Shed are working together, to highlight the importance of remaining socially connected within our communities and on the benefits of community supports linking together to improve services and health outcomes.
Practical, planned projects include a poly tunnel for the grounds of the hospital and they are working together with the clients of the Day Centre on arts and crafts.
This collaboration is about maintaining connections between the residents of the hospital and the client’s of the day centre with their surrounding community.
