Gardaí in Kilkenny are investigating a number of burglaries at business premises in Callan last weekend.
Three commercial premises were targeted by the opportunist criminals who gained entry by forcing their way in through the back of the buildings on West Street.
The burglaries took place between close of business on Friday evening and Saturday morning.
Alcohol was stolen from one premises and and a quantity of cash was taken from the second premises. Damage was caused to all three properties.
Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area of West Street in Callan is asked to contact Kilkenny Gardaí on (056) 777 5000.
No arrests have been made to date and investigations are ongoing.
