Counting is underway at Cilin Hill with early tallies suggesting a strong yes vote even in rural areas.
One of the first boxes opened was from Myshall in Co Carlow with tallies recording a 45% yes to 15% no vote. Counting of the boxes from Carlow polling stations has commenced. The boxes from Kilkenny polling stations will begin later this morning.
