Work begins on new community playground

Exciting news this week is the commencement of construction of the new childrens playground in the Plots, Clough.

Temporary fencing has been erected at the site and the state of the art play equipment is due to arrive shortly.

he specialised gear is top of the rang and designed with childrens' safety a priority. A very interesting initiative will the provision of a wheelchair accessible carousel which has been very well received by the community.

Work is expected to be completed before the end of August when the facility will be officially opened. The committee have urged residents close to the playground to help to look after this fine facility which will be of great benefit to their children for generations.
