Tax deadline approaching for Kilkenny farmers

Ifac, the farming, food and agribusiness professional services firm (ifac.ie), reminds farmers that one of the most important deadline dates of the year is fast approaching – the pay and file deadline for online tax returns is Wednesday 14th November.

Tom Ryan, Partner in ifac’s Tipperary office said, “It is extremely important to ensure you are not late in filing your tax return in order to avoid incurring high penalty fees. It’s not too late to get advice from your accountancy firm to be certain that the returns are completed correctly. It’s been a difficult year for farmers with dry weather leading to drought and the fodder crisis so filing on time will save money and put you in the best possible position to start 2019.”

ifac is over 40 years in operation with 30 branches nationwide providing advice to agribusinesses and the farming community on tax, accountancy, pension planning, succession planning and other areas to help clients across the supply chain develop a profitable and sustainable business. They have a team of 400 staff serving 18,000 clients nationwide.
