People in Kilkenny can now order free and discreet at-home STI testing kits

People in Kilkenny can now order free and discreet at-home STI testing kits

The HSE is rolling out a new sexual health service in conjunction with SH:24

SH:24, a not-for-profit sexual health service provider, are currently working in partnership with the HSE (Health Service Executive) to provide STI testing kits, diagnosis and specialist remote clinical support to local people across the country.

This initiative, open to men and women aged 17+, has now been rolled out to twenty-two counties, including right here in Kilkenny.

SH:24 makes it easier for people to get tested for the four most common sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

They provide free test kits, information and advice - 24 hours a day.

The service is quick, discreet and completely confidential.

SH:24 was set up by a team of public health professionals, sexual health clinicians, designers and academics and is designed around people’s needs.

It works alongside existing HSE services with the simple aim of improving health and wellbeing.
