The Deenside Wheelers cycling club will hold a memorial spin for bereaved members on Saturday.
While the event will be well supported by current members the committee would love to see as many old members as possible come out on the day in the club colours.

The event will leave from the Avalon at 10am after registration. The 50km route will be done at a leisurely pace and goes from Castlecomer to Loon, Moneenroe, Doonane, The Swan, Abbeyleix, Durrow and Ballyragget before returning to Castlecomer.
There will be a food stop in Durrow.
Support vehicles will be on hand while a donation box will be at the registration desk - all monies raised will go to Cois Nore. There will be a cup of tea back at the Avalon afterwards
