The Oasis Spa at Lyrath Estate in Kilkenny has scooped an Irish Tatler Spa of the Year Award at this year’s prestigious awards which celebrate the very best spas, therapists and treatments available in Ireland.
The spa won ‘Best Body Treatment’ for its Kerstin Florian Signature Treatment, ‘The Neroli Blossom Treatment’.
The treatment is a deeply relaxing yet uplifting experience featuring an energy balancing, eucalyptus infused foot cleansing ritual with reflexology which helps to clear the mind. This is followed by a lymphatic dry body brush and a neroli blossom therapeutic meditative back massage. This indulgent treatment finishes with a nourishing facial massage leaving you re-energised and refreshed, it takes 80 minutes and is currently on special offer at a reduced price of €75.
“I am absolutely delighted for our whole team to be awarded Best Body Treatment for our Signature Massage, the Neroli Blossom Sensory Ritual and a Highly Commended Award for Leinster Spa of the Year,” said Lyrath Estate Oasis Spa Manager Denise Brennan, speaking at the Irish Tatler Spa Awards.
“It is a massive achievement for Jessica Maguire, the therapist who performed the treatment on the Irish Tatler Spa Awards judge and indeed for all our spa team.
“Our highly trained therapists put so much dedication and passion into our treatments and it is wonderful for them to be recognised in this way,” she added. “We are very lucky to have such a strong, dedicated team here at Lyrath Estate and we are all committed to ensuring that each guest gets the true Oasis Spa Experience.”
Meanwhile a special evening will take place at the Oasis spa on November 29.
MC on the night is Tracy Millea and guests will enjoy a drink on arrival in The Atrium followed by an open viewing of Oasis Spa treatment rooms and facilities, skin demos, raffle prizes and more. There will also be skincare talks with Elemis expert and treatment Demos with the Oasis Spa therapists. Ladies can also enjoy a drinks reception by Ballykeefe Distillery and canapés on arrival created by Executive Chef Kenneth Murphy. Tickets are available on the eventbrite website,
The Oasis Spa at Lyrath Estate is a haven of tranquillity and is complete with a thermal suite incorporating a hydro therapy pool, experience showers, and a range of heating and cooling body experiences. The hydro therapy pool is outside and provides guests with an invigorating encounter while they enjoy views onto the mature gardens and water feature on the estate.
Lyrath Estate itself is just five minutes from the centre of the city of Kilkenny but still enjoys a rural location as it is set on 170 acres of mature parkland. The original manor house forms part of the property and retains its old world charm while the contemporary wing of the hotel houses everything the discerning guest would expect. Facilities include several restaurants and bars, a private cinema, swimming pool, gym, kids club and playground. Outdoor pursuits are also widely available and of course, the Oasis Spa is the ideal place to switch off and enjoy some ‘me time’.
