Kilkenny TD Kathleen Funchion was at the count centre this morning
Kilkenny TD and European Parliament contender Kathleen Funchion is running at 24% so far at Kilkenny count centre, with boxes still being opened.
Sitting Fine Gael MEP Sean Kelly is at 17%, with Cynthia Ní Mhurchú (FF) also at 17%. Note: this is a tally and not an official count - the figures come from chief tallyman Pat O'Neill.
Meanwhile, Sinn Fein are also looking likely to also win a seat or two in the Local Elections, going by the tallies so far.
