Due to water quality issues at Thomastown Weir Pool, swimming is once again prohibited until further notice.
This is due to risks associated with the levels of bacteria found.
Further water testing will be completed as soon as possible.
Further updates will be issued on the Kilkenny County Council website and social media outlets and information will be posted at the swimming area.
