Kilkenny people encouraged to save lives as blood donation clinics are held
People in Kilkenny are being urged to do their bit and help out by taking part in an upcoming blood donation clinic.
Around 3,000 units of blood are required each week in order to meet hospital demands. One in four of us will need a blood transfusion in our lifetime, and one blood donation can save three lives.
