Permission has been refused on plans seeking to build 44 new houses in Gowran, County Kilkenny.
Planned were 18 three-bed two-storey terraced houses in three blocks of six houses, 16 three-bed two-storey terraced houses in four blocks of four houses, two three-bed two-storey semi-detached houses, four single-storey semi-detached two-bed houses and four four-bedroom two-storey detached houses.
Also sought was a connection to the public foul sewer, a connection to public water, surface water attenuation works, landscaping works, boundary treatments, a recessed entrance and all associated site works.
There were multiple submissions lodged in relation to the proposed development.
Permission was refused on September 21, 2023.
