Denis Hynes
Local Sinn Fein Councillor, Denis Hynes, has announced his departure from SIPTU after 26 years with the union.
Commenting on his exit this afternoon, Cllr Hynes paid tribute to the friends and colleagues he worked with while in the organisation.
"It wasn't an easy decision and I still have mixed emotions about my decision," he said.
"I've made some great friends over my time in the job, colleagues and members and I sincerely thank you for all your friendship and hopefully, we'll stay in touch," Mr Hynes concluded.
