WATCH: Castle in Kilkenny goes viral on TikTok after guests reenact Monty Python scene!

A video filmed at Tybroughney Castle in South Kilkenny has gone insanely viral on TikTok!

The video features two guests of the castle reenacting the famous 'insulting Frenchman' scene from Monty Python and Holy Grail (see video below - if it is not loading, click here).

It appears that the duo are well-versed in all things Monty Python, as they perform the entire sketch without any notes.

So far, the video has amassed more than 16m views and over 3m likes on TikTok.

On the video, the uploader remarks: "My mom and her friends rented a castle Airbnb in Ireland, so naturally this was the outcome".

Tybroughney Castle itself is located in South Kilkenny, on a back road half way between the Three Bridges and the village of Piltown.

The Dowley family who own the castle have spent the best parts of two decades renovating it as a luxury guesthouse all while staying true to its history.

Today you can expect all of the modern comforts of home in this wonderfully restored castle, including wifi on all levels - and top of the range heating to keep you warm while you sleep and eat like a Lord!
