After recently being adopted from Carlow-Kilkenny Dog Shelter, Ben the three-legged labrador has returned and is looking once again for his forever home.

The shelter were 'absolutely gutted' that his new home didn't work out.

They stated that his new owner was 'very upset' after making the decision to return him to the shelter and are asking for no negative comments in relation to the decision.

"Ben is back now and looking for a new home again," they told followers.

"He needs a fully secure garden and a female dog of similar size to play with. He is okay with cats but an teenager/adult only home is required."

Ben has also been neutered.

If you think you can offer him a home, please contact the shelter on 059 9726785.
