Flooding at Plunkett Train Station
Kilkenny commuters travelling on the 4.40pm Heuston to Plunkett Station train service were forced to alter their travel plans earlier due to treacherous weather conditions.

Met Eireann issued a Status Yellow rain warning for thirteen counties including Kilkenny earlier with heavy, thundery rain expected to cause flooding and difficult travel conditions until tomorrow morning (Sunday October 29) at approximately 4am.
