Carlow/Kilkenny Dog Shelter, based just outside Paulstown, are paying tribute to local student Kyler Ronan following a kind-hearted donation.
The Presentation Secondary School student recently held a bake sale in the school to raise money for food and treats for the shelter dogs.
"Thank you from all the staff and dogs here at the shelter," a spokesperson from the shelter said in a statement.
