Much loved hair salon to close its doors in Kilkenny

Well-known hair salon, Coco Belle have announced they will close their doors for the final time on Saturday, March 30.

The business, which opened on Walkin Street in Kilkenny City nine years ago, took to social media to announce its closure with many devastated clients expressing disappointment at the news.

"Coco Belle has been my life for the last nearly ten years. I have had the best staff beside me and the most wonderful loyal clients coming through the door. I had the best nine years in business but unfortunately I am now ready to close the chapter," a post to social media by salon owner, Linda read.

"My priorities have changed since opening and my little family needs me home more and I want more stress free time with them," she stated.

"These girls are a rare bunch and are the hardest working, most loyal girls I was so lucky to have beside me. I will miss them more than they know. The laughs have been endless. I will update you all on which lucky salon they are going to soon," the post added.

Many social media users took to Facebook to express their sadness at the news. 

One user said: "So sorry to hear this, best of luck to you all, I will miss getting my hair done with ye," while another commenter added, "Best wishes Linda to you & all the girls ye are a great bunch always so helpful & obliging."
