On a routine patrol near Callan on Sunday, one garda came across these marks (pictured above) on the road.
"Someone or some people think that this diffing / donuts on a public road is acceptable behaviour. It's not," gardaí stated.
"Maybe someone nearby will catch you on a dashcam next time or a patrol car.
"Remember with this behaviour you have to be lucky every time. We only have to be lucky once to catch you.
"Serious cop on required, have we not had enough tragedies on our roads?"
