ALERT: Kilkenny road closures creating challenges for local motorists

Have you been impacted by these closures to Kilkenny roads?

Kilkenny County Council have confirmed the following road closures:

- The R695 Graigue Cross Roads to Kilmanagh will be closed to vehicular traffic on Wednesday, July 10 and Thursday, July 11 from 7am to 7pm. Diversions will be via the R691 & the LP 1014, Ballykeeffe.

- The L2636 Clashwilliam will be closed to vehicular traffic from its junction with road ref L2634/L2633 Ballynaboley Crossroads to its junction with road ref L6709 Clashwilliam Upper on Wednesday, July 10 and Thursday, July 11 from 7am to 7pm. Local diversions shall be in operation and signposted.

- The L2632 Maddockstown/Sion Road will be closed to vehicular traffic from its junction with road ref: L2631 Highrath to its junction with road ref: L6705 Dunbell Big on Wednesday, July 10 and Thursday, July 11 from 7am to 7pm. Local diversions shall be in operation and signposted.

- There will be traffic management including a stop-go system will be in operation on the R700 at Brownsbarn from its junction with the L8237 Viewmount to its junction with the R700 The Square, Inistioge on Wednesday, July 10 and Thursday, July 11 from 7am to 7pm. Delays can be expected. 

In so far as practical whilst roadworks are in progress local access will be facilitated but is likely to be subject to delays and you are advised that these works are weather dependent.
