A man is being treated for serious injuries at St Luke's Hospital following a road traffic collision this evening.
The collision took place on the Tullaroan Road at Mallardstown at approximately 6.40pm.
Gardai are at the scene and are carrying out an examination and the road is expected to remain closed for a number of hours.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
