Are you the Kilkenny winner who won this lotto prize?

A Kilkenny woman is on cloud nine this week as she collected a cheque for €65,155 after scooping the Snowball Prize on the National Lottery’s TellyBingo game.

Sharing the story of her win, the delighted woman revealed that a family member’s unique taste in bread unexpectedly led her to the Centra shop in Piltown, Co Kilkenny where she purchased her winning ticket.   

"There’s a specific brand of bread that one of my family members will only eat," she explained.

"I went to one shop to pick it up, but they didn’t have it, so I headed to a second shop and that’s where I decided to buy my TellyBingo ticket."

Interestingly, this isn’t her first time the South Kilkenny woman has had a National Lottery win.

Just under a decade ago, she won €10,000 on the now-retired RTÉ gameshow ‘Million Euro Challenge’.    

The double winner also revealed that she is planning an exciting holiday.

"My last trip abroad was to the UK about ten years ago," she said, adding, "I’m really excited to book my first big trip away."
