An Garda Síochana in Kilkenny have warned local drivers of serious repercussions if they avail of fake drivers licenses that would 'pass garda scrutiny'.
"Just perusing comments on a recent post and we came across a commenter offering licences. One of our lads engaged the UK based offender who for €680 was offering a licence that would pass garda scrutiny," gardaí posted to social media.
"The chancer stated that "they work under the NDLS, rubbish of course. Samples were sent, one of which was helpful as it was of a chap known to gardai."
"The licences don't pass scrutiny but if you did present one, you would be guilty of Fraud offences on top of Road Traffic Offences. We've included some screenshots for you," they concluded.
