The water supply is returning to normal levels in Bennettsbridge after Uisce Éireann crews successfully completed repairs to a burst water main on the village's Public Water Supply Scheme.
The repairs were necessary due to a significant burst in the water main that supplies Bennettsbridge, Dungarvan, Danesfort, Kells, Stoneyford, Dunnamaggin, Knocktopher, Ballyhale, and surrounding areas.
"Our crews worked throughout the night, and repairs were finished in the early hours of the morning," Shane Aylward, Uisce Éireann’s Operations Manager, told Kilkenny Live.
"Normal water supply has been restored for the majority of customers, however, those at the end of the network may experience a delay as the network recharges.

"I want to thank the community for their continued patience and urge everyone to conserve water as supply returns," he concluded.
