Local gardaí issue warning to Tipperary drivers passing through County Kilkenny

The An Garda Síochana Kilkenny Facebook page has once again got people talking, both locally and across the border in Tipperary.

The Premier County are All-Ireland champions again, after a remarkable second half showing steered them past Cork. However, gardaí are warning Tipp supporters there are still some unwanted points on offer.

"Remember any fans driving through Kilkenny on their way home from Croke Park that a speeding ticket is three points and you can get more than one ticket in 35 minutes," their latest post reads.

"Well done to to our Neighbours in the Premier County but drive carefully as you have got enough points already today," they added.

Another person posted, "Not to worry, the sight of the Tipp colours on the garda car will slow then down."
