Uisce Éireann crews are carrying out works to repair a significant burst on a water main in Kilkenny.
The burst is impacting water supply to homes and businesses in Troyswood, Thornback, Threecastles, Freshford, and the surrounding areas.
Crews are working to repair the burst. It is estimated that repairs will be complete, and supply will return to normal levels from approximately 3pm on Monday, 21 July.

An alternative water supply will be available in The Square in Freshford until 10pm tonight and again from 7am tomorrow morning.
Customers are reminded to use their own containers when taking water from tankers and to boil water before consumption as a precautionary measure.
To ensure the safety of the crews carrying out the repairs to the burst and the safety of the public, traffic management will be in place and will be clearly signposted.
Following repair works, it typically takes three to four hours for normal supply to return to all customers as the network refills, particularly for those on higher ground or at the end of the network.
