An Garda Síochana in Kilkenny have reitterated their warning to drivers to be safe this Bank Holiday weekend.
On Thursday, gardaí launched the latest phase of 'Operation Lifesaver' with a high visibility checkpoint at Foulkstown. Divisional Roads Policing Inspector Paul Donohoe was joined at the checkpoint by nine members of An Garda Síochána (including trainee gardaí), as well as representatives from the National Ambulance Service and Fire Service. - READ MORE HERE
"Every Bank Holiday weekend we give an extra push to Road Safety measures resulting in more arrests for Drink Driving, Drug Driving and Dangerous Driving," a garda spokesperson said.
