Brand new affordable homes have come on to the market in South Kilkenny.
A new release of homes have been made available at Church View in Kilmacow, featuring private homes designed for comfort, quality and efficiency in a project by Kilkenny County Council working in collaboration with Michael Murphy Building Services, and supported by the Department of Housing, Local Government & Heritage
The minimum affordable purchase price for a home in the development starts from €248,475 with a total of 13 three bedroom made available for purchase with support of the Local Authority Affordable Purchase Scheme.

These A rated homes are available for purchase by successful applicants at a price lower than its market value. In return, Kilkenny County Council will take a percentage equity interest in the home equal to the difference between the open market value of the home and the price paid by the buyer. So, if a 20% discount off the market value of the home is secured, the Council will take a 20% equity interest in the property.
The Online Portal will open for applications on Wednesday, September 10 at 12noon.
