Abbeygate Properties Ltd have lodged a planning application with Kilkenny County Council for the development of 98 new residential units and créche facility in Abbeygate, Ferrybank in South Kilkenny.
The proposed development (namely Phase 3 of an overall masterplan) consists of 44 new housing units featuring 30 three-bed, two storey semi-detached houses and 14 four-bed two-storey semi-detached houses.

The development would also include three apartment blocks compromising of 54 units.
