Storm Amy may be battering much of the west and north west of the country but Kilkenny hasn't been immune with Kilkenny Live receiving reports of a crash and two fallen trees in the locality.
A Met Éireann yellow weather warning remains in place locally until midnight with drivers advised to take care if travelling on Friday evening.
Kilkenny Live understands there was a crash shortly after 4pm in Coolbawn, on the Castlecomer Road heading towards Athy in the north part of the county. There has been no reports of any injuries at this point.

Meanwhile, ESB crews were called to clear roads at a number of locations in County Kilkenny where trees had fallen and roads had become impassible.
ESB crews were at work on Friday evening on the Freshford to Urlingford and Kells to Knocktopher routes as well as in the Wallslough area.
