Gallery: RTE stars joins Kilkenny community to celebrate opening of shop and café

Eileen Dunne was the special guest in Muckalee

Last Saturday was a big day for Muckalee - there was success on the playing field for the local hurlers and ladies football team and to top it off, the parish celebrated the official opening of the Muckalee Community Centre Shop and Café.

The honour of cutting the ribbon went to local man Ger Comerford, who generously donated the land on which the café now stands. The parish appreciates all he has done.
