A driver is set to be prosecuted for a myriad of offences after being stopped by the Roads Policing Unit of An Garda Síochana in Kilkenny on Wednesday.
On stopping the vehicle while conducting a speed checkpoint on the M9 Motorway near Mullinavat, it was uncovered the driver had no valid insurance, NCT and failed the Drug Wipe for illegal drugs.

The driver was subsequently arrested and prosecution is set to follow.
"Shocking. Never speed or drive intoxicated, it risks your life and other road users," a garda spokesperson said.
