A dog found with a rope tied around its neck and 'a bag of bones' has now found a loving forever home

Carlow/ Kilkenny dog shelter are delighted to share that one of their rescue dogs has finally found a forever home.

Ralph was picked up by the rescue as a stray a few weeks ago with a rope tied around his neck, filthy and he was "a bag of bones".
Now, he is gone home with the lovely couple John and Paulette with a bright new future and a home he so deserves.
"Thank you both for choosing to adopt one of our shelter dogs. You too could change the life of a shelter dog, please consider adoption," Carlow/Kilkenny dog shelter said.
A post by the dog shelter has received a huge amount of positive feedback from people in the local area.
Over 400 people have commented under the Facebook post delighted with the amazing story.
One person said: "I just love the expressions on dogs faces when they know they are with the right people who will love them! They literally smile! This is fab".
Another person commented, "What a photo. Ralph knows he won the human lottery" and another said "He’s absolutely gorgeous! Three very happy faces! Hope you have a wonderful new life Ralph!".
