Driving conditions are challenging in parts of the city and county with numerous reports of trees and debris blocking roads according to local gardaí.
The road is blocked outside Burnchurch National School and on the N9 between Gowran and Paulstown Road N9
The message from gardaí is to 'Stay Safe' during Storm Eunice.
There are challenging and disruptive conditions this morning due to very strong winds. Reports of tree down on O'Loughlin Road in Kilkenny City, On N76 on Callan side of Cuffsgrange, between Danesfort and Bennettsbridge and at Graigue Cross and Ballykeefe Amphitheatre.
"Please exercise caution, there are Gusts over 130km/hour and damage to power lines so stay clear. More fallen trees are expected so slow down as there are dangerous driving conditions," said a garda spokesperson.
