Fran Grincell raises nearly €30,000 (so far) for Cois Nore in Kilkenny

He’s spent evening after evening outside in the freezing cold raising funds for a worthy cause, and he’d do it all again in a heartbeat.

Fran Grincell’s annual kick-a-thon has become a fundraising tradition in Kilkenny in recent years, and this year Cois Nore Cancer Support Centre are the proud beneficiaries.

After a huge final push for donations, Fran has raised €27,870 - smashing his €25,000 goal!

The even better news is that Fran’s donation page will remain active online until January 21, 2023, so it’s likely to exceed €30,000 over the coming days and weeks.

Speaking to Kilkenny Live, Fran thanked all the people who showed up to support him every evening.
