A popular brand of clothing is recalling a product due to a potential strangulation risk.
According to the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC), The North Face is carrying out a recall of their Teens' Oversized Hoodie.
The product has drawstrings with free ends in the hood, which can become trapped during various activities of a child leading to strangulation.
The affected product (product code 7X4U) was available for purchase from July 2022 with approximately 68 affected products in the Republic of Ireland.
The North Face are asking customers to return the product to their place of purchase for a full refund.
Collection can also be arranged by contacting tnf.ukshop@vfc.com to organise this.
