Gardaí are currently at the scene of a fatal incident on the N3 road at Blanchardstown, Dublin 15 that occurred earlier this morning.
The accident happened at approximately 10.50am this morning, Friday 27th October 2023.
The N3 inbound is expected to remain closed for a number of hours to facilitate an examination of the scene.
Local diversions are in place and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
A garda spokesperson said no further information is available at this time.
Gardaí recently commenced a Bank Holiday Roads Enforcement Operation for the October (Halloween) Bank Holiday, in an effort to reduce road accidents and fatalities.
